Making music involves more than the voice or fingers playing an instrument. Our early childhood group courses which involve parents in the classes, engage children in musical activities that develop multiple skill sets -their ears and eyes, as well as large and small muscles simultaneously.

This method is pioneered by Dr Shinichi Suzuki for teaching violin and later adapted to teaching cello, to very young children. Also known as the “Mother Tongue” method, the children learn the violin/cello through listening to good playing, imitating a good example and repeating on what they acquired – just like how a child learns his first words. Thus the participating parent will learn how to play the violin/cello as well. This will enable him/her to become a good mentor to their children while practicing.
