Principal
Teacher Mac
Mac Chang has been teaching Suzuki Method since 1990. He obtained Suzuki Method (Violin) Advance Teaching Certificate in 1995 under the guidance of Mr Nakamura (Honorary) President International Suzuki Association. Since he has been active in the Suzuki violin program worldwide, participating in and bringing students to string conferences in different part of the world.
A protégé of late Pravel Prantl who was the music director of Czech Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra and concertmaster of Singapore Symphony orchestra. Mac Chang performed music from different genres, from classical to jazz for the last 25 years both locally and overseas. As a conductor he led Raffles Girls String Orchestra to a Gold Medal in the National Youth Competition.
Mac Chang founded Mac’s Music School in 2005. Together with a team of dedicated and passionate teachers and administrative staff, the school was awarded Singapore Trusted Brand.

Teacher Elaine

Elaine was musically trained from Lasalle College of the Arts and has always been active in music teaching, performing and learning since young. She plays the piano, violin, harmonica and has been teaching as well as leading bands since her school days.
With 18 years of professional teaching experience, Elaine is passionate about educating music students as well as life-long learning. She has gone great lengths to discover and learn new ways of teaching music. She has been attending workshops and seminars locally as well as around the world. Some of these includes Australia, Hungary, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia etc. Over the years she has also completed Primary Level in the Kodaly Accredited Course.

Elaine teaches the Piano, Advance Theory and the Young Beginners' Course in Mac's Music School.

Teacher Veneta graduated from The National State Music Academy in Sofia, Bulgaria with Master Degree in Viola and Chamber Music. She was the winner of Kjustendil National competition for string instruments.

Teacher Kum Joung (KJ) was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, where he studied music at a young age. After high school, he continued his musical studies in the United States, attending the State University of New York at Fredonia, majoring in violin performance.
